Man struck and killed in parking lot of Wendy's in Winslow Township

Authorities say a man was struck and killed by a car while he walked in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant in southern New Jersey.

Camden County prosecutors say 58-year-old Ira Redhorn Jr. of Pine Hill was struck shortly before 5:20 p.m. Monday at the Wendy's restaurant on Cross Keys Road in Winslow.

Redhorn was taken to Kennedy University Hospital in Washington Township, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The driver of the car, a 28-year-old Sicklerville woman, was not injured in the accident and remained at the scene.

No charges have been filed, but the accident remains under investigation.
