Penns Grove apartment bldg. evacuated for gas leak

PENNS GROVE, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police in Penns Grove, New Jersey are evacuating an apartment building because of a gas leak.

The leak was reported around 1 p.m. at South Virginia Avenue and Regional Drive.

Chopper 6 was over the scene a short time later. Workers were already on scene, apparently fixing the leak.

Police closed some streets in the area as a precaution.
