1 rescued after boat capsizes in Delaware River

ESSINGTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- One person was rescued after a boat capsized on the Delaware River Saturday morning.

It happened near the West End Boat Club in Essington, Delaware County around 7 a.m.

The person's condition was not known.

There is a fishing tournament happening near the scene of the rescue, but it's not clear if the boat and victim were part of that tournament.
