Party goers celebrate the Kentucky Derby in Montco

BALA CYNWYD, Pa. -- They may have been 700 miles from Churchill Downs, but you would have never known in Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County Saturday afternoon.

Party goers decked out in bow-ties and fancy hats flocked to West Laurel Hill to watch the 143rd running of the Kentucky Derby.

And as expected, the bartenders mixed up some Mint Juleps.

All of this was for a good cause.

The event benefited an organization called Hope Springs Equestrian Therapy.
