VIDEO: Dog groomer accused of grabbing, shaking dog

VENICE, Fla. -- A viral video shows what appears to be a dog groomer choking and slamming a dog on a table.

Briana Brady, a former employee of Happy Puppy Pet Spa in Venice, Florida, posted the video on Facebook.

In the post, Brady writes that the dog was "a perfectly well-behaved dog. There was no need for this."

Brady says the woman in the video is Phyllis Lucca, the owner of the company. Brady also says Lucca tied another dog's mouth and throat shut before the video was taken.

According to local reports, Lucca says the dog had passed out and she was trying to help it.

At the time of this writing, Brady's post has more than 23,000 shares.
