Philadelphia police invite students to first district Christmas party

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The first district police department in South Philadelphia hosted a Christmas party Friday.

Forty children from Universal Vare Charter School, Steven Girard Elementary School and F. Amadee Bregy School were invited to attend.

The students took home brand new winter jackets which will come in handy this winter.

Santa even made a special appearance and made sure each child received a gift.
