Teen injured in West Philadelphia hit-and-run

COBBS CREEK (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a hit and run accident in Cobbs Creek.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday near 63rd and Market streets.

Police said a girl, approximately 14 years old, was struck by a vehicle which then took off.

The victim was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Hospital where she is in stable condition.
