Man, 28, shot in East Mt. Airy

EAST MT. AIRY (WPVI) -- A 28-year-old man found shot in the East Mount Airy section of Philadelphia overnight remains hospitalized.

Police were called to the 500 block of East Walnut Lane after 1 a.m. Wednesday.

The victim was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center in critical condition and went into surgery.

Investigators say they don't have a description of the gunman.
