EAST FALLS (WPVI) -- After nearly six months of alternate routes, commuters can now use the Walnut Lane Bridge again.
Crews wrapped up construction, and the bridge in the East Falls section of Philadelphia reopened on Monday afternoon.
The 109-year-old bridge closed back in April so PennDOT could install a new concrete deck and new sidewalks.
Before it was shut down, more than 16,000 cars used the bridge every day.
