Worker shocked along railroad tracks in Parkside

PARKSIDE (WPVI) -- Rescuers responded to the Parkside section of Philadelphia after a worker was shocked along some railroad tracks.

It happened Monday morning near 50th and Jefferson streets.

The power was shut off and medics removed the worker from the tracks.

He was taken to an area hospital where he is now in stable condition.

The circumstances of this incident remain under investigation.
