Police investigate fatal hit and run in Mill Creek

MILL CREEK, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police continue to investigate a hit and run crash that left a woman dead.

Police say a woman was walking across the intersection of Kirkwood Highway and Farrand Drive around 12:30 a.m. Saturday when she was hit by a dark colored pickup truck.

The driver of the truck did not stop and left the scene.

The 50-year-old woman died at the scene.

Her identity has not been released.
