Philadelphia police officer struck by car

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia police officer is injured after getting hit by a car in Center City

It happened just after 2 p.m.near 16th Street and John F Kennedy Boulevard.

Officials said the officer was struck by a car while in foot pursuit of a suspect.

The officer was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
