LOWER HEIDELBERG TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Detectives in Berks County are asking for help solving a murder case.
Lower Heidelberg Township police found the body of the victim in a wooded area off Riegel Road on Sunday evening.
She has been identified as 23-year-old Madison Marie Walb from Reading.
While her death was ruled a homicide, authorities have not released any details about how she died.
"There is no doubt. This is a homicide," said District Attorney John Adams.
Police believe Walb was murdered somewhere else, and her body was dumped in the woods sometime on Sunday.
Adams said while there are many unanswered questions, one thing he does know is that another young life has been tragically cut short.
"We may become immune sometimes to that because we see it all too often, but it still hits you in the gut," he said.
If you have any information about this case, you are asked to call Berks County Detectives.
