Pennsylvania Governor-elect Tom Wolf says the state has a problem, a nearly $2-billion deficit that's getting bigger every day.

Pennsylvania Governor-elect Tom Wolf says the state has a problem, a nearly $2-billion deficit that's getting bigger every day.

Wolf held a news conference at the free library in center city today.

He said the state is spending more than it's taking in.

And, Wolf says, fixing the problem could require innovative solutions.

"Republicans, Democrats, House, and Senate, we all know there's a problem. I think that can make us do better things. So I'm not sure the doom and gloom should be the expectation," Wolf said.

Wolf takes office in a little more than a month.
