1 dead, 2 injured after house fire in Point Breeze

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- One person is dead and two other people are injured after a house fire late Tuesday morning in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia.

The fire was reported at 10:51 a.m. on the 1600 block of Ellsworth Street.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene by fire department medics at 11:05 a.m.

Another man and a woman were taken to Jefferson University Hospital, where they are listed in stable condition.

The name of the man killed has not been released.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
