15-year-old shot in Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a shooting that injured a 15-year-old boy on Wednesday evening in Northeast Philadelphia.

The shooting happened around 5 p.m. in the 3000 block of Nesper Street.

Police said the teen was shot in the chest. He was taken to a hospital, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.

Officials have not released details about what led up to the shooting.

There was no word on whether any arrests were made.
