2 brothers stab eachother in South Philadelphia after family dispute escalates into knife fight

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say two brothers stabbed each other in South Philadelphia when a family dispute escalated into a knife fight.

Officers responded to the 2000 block of South 5th Street at 1:30 a.m.

They rushed one man to the hospital for surgery with a wound to the upper torso.

The other man had a minor injury and has been taken into custody.

Officers recovered both weapons used in the fight.
