2 injured after freight train hits car in Hainesport, Burlington County

HAINESPORT, N.J. (WPVI) -- Two people were injured when a freight train slammed into a car on Wednesday afternoon in Burlington County, New Jersey.

It happened around 1:15 p.m. at Hainesport Mount Laurel Road near Marne Highway in Hainesport

Both people were taken to Cooper Hospital for treatment.

Their conditions have not been released.

The circumstances of this crash remain under investigation.
