2 Powerball tickets worth $50,000 set to expire soon, New Jersey Lottery says

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- The New Jersey Lottery says two winning Powerball tickets worth $50,000 are expiring soon.

The Garden State gives players one year to claim their prize.

One winning ticket was sold back on January 13 at a 7-Eleven in Middlesex County.

The other ticket was sold at a Wine Outlet in Point Pleasant Beach, Ocean County.

That prize will expire on February 1.
