Alleged jewelry sale meetup turns into robbery in Philadelphia's Wynnefield Heights

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An alleged meetup to buy and sell jewelry turned into a robbery in Philadelphia's Wynnefield Heights section.

Police were called to the Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia City Avenue around 10:15 on Thursday night.

The victim says he met the suspect in the parking lot to buy jewelry, but when he showed the suspect his money, the suspect maced him and drove away.
