Argument over money ends in stabbing, deadly shooting in Philadelphia's Cobbs Creek section: Police

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating after an argument between two men ended in a deadly shooting.

It happened on 60th Street, near Catharine Street, in Philadelphia's Cobbs Creek section on Wednesday.

Police say it began around 2:20 p.m. when a driver cut off another vehicle and both drivers got out of their cars.

Witnesses say the men knew one another and were arguing about money.

Police say a 35-year-old man stabbed a 42-year-old man with a knife.

Then, the 42-year-old man shot the other man multiple times. He died at the hospital.

The man who was stabbed is in stable condition.
