'Armchair Travelers' program gives NJ seniors a taste of global cultures

BURLINGTON, New Jersey (WPVI) -- Each month, seniors at Masonic Village at Burlington get a chance to feel like 'Armchair Travelers.'

The program is hosted by activities coordinator Lisa Reitter, who dresses as a flight attendant to help seniors simulate the experience of international travel.

A new country is chosen for the theme each month. This time, they provided food, souvenirs, a documentary, and more focused on Spain.
