Armed robber sought in West Oak Lane 7-Eleven robbery

WEST OAK LANE (WPVI) -- Police are searching for an armed man who robbed a 7-Eleven in the Philadelphia's West Oak Lane section early Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred just before 1:00 a.m. on the 7700 block of Ogontz Avenue.

According to police, the gunman made off with $200 and the cashier's wallet.

He was last seen fleeing on 78th Avenue.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

Police are reviewing surveillance video for a description of the suspect.
