
CLELAND HEIGHTS, Del. (WPVI) -- A 26-year-old Wilmington man is in custody after police say he assaulted a 64-year-old man during an altercation.
Investigators said Jamir Garvin became involved in a dispute with the victim on Wednesday night on Willis Place in the Cleland Heights neighborhood.
According to police, Garvin punched the older man in the face and stomped on his head before fleeing the scene.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
Garvin was later arrested at his home and is facing felony assault charges.
