PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two well-known Broadway stars are coming to Philadelphia for two nights of non-stop showtunes.
The Broadway Cabaret at Rittenhouse Grill is calling the upcoming performances the pinnacle of their ongoing "Dinner and a Show" series.
"We have such a great connection," says renowned accompanist and musical director Billy Stritch of his relationship with two-time Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole. "We have a great rapport and it's almost like we're sharing a brain."
Ebersole and Stritch met in 2001 on the Broadway revival of 42nd street.
Ebersole is also in Bradley Cooper's latest film, "Is This Thing On?," which hits theaters this December.
"It was an amazing experience," she says. "It really was. Bradley is just a man of great vision and great passion."
Next month, Ebersole and Stritch are bringing their act to the Broadway Cabaret at Rittenhouse Grill in the Warwick Hotel in Rittenhouse Square.
"It's very eclectic, but the main thrust is American popular standard and songs from the golden age of Broadway," says Stritch. "You know, things from Oscar Hammerstein and Richard Rogers. We like to jazz it up."
"It's kind of like in we're inviting you into our living room for cocktails and fun," says Ebersole.
"An Evening with Christine Ebersole with Billy Stritch on Piano" is coming to the Broadway Cabaret at Rittenhouse Grill in the Warwick Hotel November 17th and 18th.
