PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Ben Franklin Bridge, connecting Philadelphia and Camden, will be closed on Saturday to mark its 100th birthday.
The Delaware River Port Authority and the city of Philadelphia are planning a celebration for the anniversary.
The celebration will be held near the toll plaza on the Camden side from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The Philadelphia landmark will close from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. to vehicular traffic for the free event.
People will be able to walk the bridge and enjoy food trucks, carnival rides, live music and more family-friendly activities.
There will also be a pop-up museum highlighting a century of the bridge's legacy, with exhibits showcasing bridge artifacts and pieces from throughout its history.

When the bridge opened in 1926, drivers had to pay just 18-cents. Now, the toll is $6.
