Bicyclist rescued after falling down 20-foot ravine at White Clay Creek State Park in Delaware

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- Crews stepped in to rescue a bicyclist in Newark, Delaware, after she veered off a trail and fell 20 feet down a ravine.

It happened Sunday afternoon in White Clay Creek State Park.

First responders used specialized equipment to lift the 60-year-old woman from the ravine along Paper Mill Road.

Authorities say the victim survived but suffered several traumatic injuries.
