
OCEAN CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- A man who went missing while boogie boarding off the coast of Ocean City last month has been found, authorities announced on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old swimmer disappeared on May 18 near the 10th Street beach after being struck by a wave and failing to resurface.
Officials said his body was recovered on Friday near 72nd Street in Sea Isle City.
The medical examiner's office positively identified the body as the missing swimmer. His name has not been released.
According to the man's father, he was from Exton, Pennsylvania, and was a student at Hofstra University. He had recently finished the semester and had traveled to the shore with friends.
