Bustleton post office dedicated to Temple University police officer killed in the line of duty

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Bustleton Post Office is now officially named in honor of Sgt. Christopher Fitzgerald.

The Temple University police sergeant was killed in the line of duty back on February 18, 2023.

His widow, parents and other family members gathered with Congressman Brendan Boyle on Sunday for a dedication ceremony.

President Biden signed legislation that renamed the building in honor of Sergeant Fitzgerald last November.
