Camden prepares for more flash flooding ahead of Tuesday's expected downpours
CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Tuesday is an AccuWeather Alert Day as severe storms, packed with moisture, move towards the region, bringing the risk of flash flooding.
Officials in Camden, New Jersey, are hoping to get ahead of any potential flooding by taking preventative measures ahead of Tuesday's expected downpours.
Parts of South Jersey experienced flash flooding on Monday, stalling cars and stranding drivers.
Camden also saw significant flooding in areas earlier this month.

The city said it has jetted its sewers, and public works cleared stormwater inlets.
The fire department has high-water rescue trucks and additional resources at the ready.
If needed, the city is also prepared to open its Emergency Operations Center.
