CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Residents in Camden, New Jersey, faced renewed flooding concerns Thursday afternoon as heavy rain moved through the area.
Floodwaters rose quickly around 2 p.m., particularly along Second Street near Pine Street, where vehicles attempted to navigate high water.
The flooding comes just days after storms on Monday caused significant issues in the area, affecting vehicles and buildings. Residents said they are paying close attention to weather alerts amid fears of additional impacts.
"I just got a flash flood warning on my phone too, you kind of pay attention," said Kaitlynn Jones of Camden.
The city has been hard at work trying to keep roads passable.
"We've planned for this. We've had crews all day long on major thoroughfares, cleared inlets when the water gets in, it gets out as soon as possible," said

A Flash Flood Warning remains in effect. Rainfall rates within the downpours may produce 1-2" per hour rainfall rates. Areas hit with heavy rain earlier in the week will be most at risk for localized flooding.
Along with downpours that can lead to flooding, there could be a few gusty storms that produce locally damaging wind gusts.
