Car plows into apartment building in New Castle County

CLAYMONT, Del. (WPVI) -- Firefighters and police in Claymont, New Castle, Delaware are investigating a crash where a car drove into the basement of an apartment building.

It happened along Cloister Road near Prior Road, where a car crashed into a building just before 5 this evening.

Police said two adults and a child were inside the car, but none were injured. The car went into the windows of a basement apartment.

Police said no one inside the building was injured.
