Car slams into front of home in Bear, Delaware

BEAR, Del. (WPVI) -- A car crashed into a home in Bear, Delaware, and officials tell Action News it's not the first time this has happened there.

Police say an elderly driver crashed into the house on the unit block of Gull Turn in the Sparrow Run development around 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

Tarps were already in place from a prior incident in which a car ran into this same home.

This time, the damage was more extensive.

The driver did not appear to be seriously injured.

There's no word yet on what caused the driver to lose control.
