Child struck by car in Mayfair, officials say

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A child was struck by a driver in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 3:45 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Battersby Street and Ryan Avenue.

The child was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in unknown condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
