Child, woman hurt when tree falls in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A child and a woman were injured when a tree fell in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia, according to family members.

The incident happened around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 7700 block of Burholme Avenue.

The injuries were reported to be minor.

There was no immediate word on what caused the tree to suddenly fall.
