CHOP scores high in national rankings

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Children's Hospital of Philadelphia has earned some big honors from U.S. News and World Report.

On Wednesday, the group released its national rankings for children's hospitals.

Of ten specialties, CHOP ranked in the top of two categories.

The hospital earned top honors for its work in pediatric diabetes and endocrinology and pediatric pulmonology.

Nine of CHOP's clinical programs ranked within the top three nationally in the 10 specialty areas evaluated in the U.S. News survey.
