

OXFORD, Pa. (WPVI) -- Things got heated at a meeting in Oxford Borough, Pennsylvania, on Monday night.
A council meeting erupted into a shouting match over the decision to dismantle the police department.

Several people were escorted out, as community members voiced their opposition.
The borough says financial and staffing challenges led to the difficult decision.
The Southern Chester County Regional Police Department will now provide police services.
A public meeting on the transition is set for Thursday.
