
OXFORD, Pa. (WPVI) -- The borough of Oxford, Pennsylvania held the first of several meetings to determine the future of its police department.
The department has served the community in Chester County for 100 years.
Borough leaders are considering whether to disband the department.
They held a public hearing Monday night to share their findings on the state of the police department, including finances and staffing issues.
No official decision was made and there will be another meeting open to the public on Wednesday night beginning at 7 p.m. at Penn's Grove Middle School.
