Construction workers apparently injured in crash on I-95 in the Tacony section of Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two construction workers needed medical attention after a crash along I-95 in the Tacony section of Philadelphia on Wednesday.

The crash happened around 10:15 a.m. in the northbound lanes near the Cottman Avenue exit.

Video from Chopper 6 showed a white SUV with heavy front-end damage.

A construction vehicle and a road sign were also damaged.

The two workers were seen being put into ambulances. Their conditions were not immediately known.

The circumstances of this crash remain under investigation.
