PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A banking outage has many customers in Philadelphia's tri-state area concerned.
Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union's digital operations remain down Tuesday morning, stretching into a second day.
Several Action News viewers alerted the newsroom to the ongoing problem, saying they cannot access the website or app, and are worried about their accounts.
Action News found that the main website shows an offer to buy the domain for $10,000 on GoDaddy.com.
Records show it appears to be under the control of a person, possibly from Saudi Arabia, who re-registered the site at 2:17 p.m. on Monday.
Both the Facebook page and hotline for Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union say the Chadds Ford-based institution is having technical issues and is working to get service restored.
Action News was not able to reach anyone for comment outside of banking hours.
