Couples who met at McGillin's Old Ale House are celebrated in a reunion

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- Over the many decades McGillin's Old Ale House has been operating, countless special connections have been made.

Some of them have even blossomed into romantic relationships that are still going strong to this day.

"We say that more couples have met here at McGillin's than anywhere else in Philadelphia. And for the first time, we've invited them to come...to celebrate them and their stories," said Co-Owner and Manager, Christopher Mullins Jr.

Some couples met during the 70s, some couples have met recently, all were welcomed to mingle and revisit the significant location.

"We hope that couples are meeting here forever in the future .It's incredibly important for us. It's also exciting to meet people whose lives started here at McGillin's," said Mullins Jr.
