
LANSDALE, Pa. (WPVI) -- A 2-vehicle crash slowed southbound traffic on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Tuesday morning.
It happened at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday in the southbound lanes of I-476 at mile marker 36.5, approaching the Lansdale exit.
Police said one vehicle overturned at the scene. There was no immediate word on the number or extent of injuries.
Only one lane was getting by following the crash. The backup extended for miles.
Motorists were advised to seek alternate routes.
