No damage or injuries reported after firefighters called to country club in Montgomery County

LOWER MORELAND, Pa. (WPVI) -- No damage or injuries were reported after fire crews were called to a country club in Montgomery County on Monday morning.

Firefighters were called around 7:30 a.m. to the Philmont Country Club on the 300 block of Tomlinson Road in Lower Moreland.

There was no visible damage to the outside of the facility.

Club management sent a statement to Action News, reading:

"This morning, some smoke was observed in the mulch outside of Philmont Country Club. Out of an abundance of caution and safety, Philmont staff contacted the local fire department. Thankfully, there was no damage to the club and no injuries reported."
