Delaware spa owner surrenders to police amid alleged human trafficking investigation

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- The owner of a spa in Delaware has turned herself in to police.

Police say she was wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation into suspected human trafficking and illicit activity at the business.

Meilan Quan, 54, of Claymont, is the owner of Crystal Space on the 1700 block of Foulk Road in North Wilmington.

According to police, Quan faces a number of felony charges.

A search warrant of the business last week led to the arrest of the spa's operator, 71-year-old Nan Son Yim.

Detectives also identified three women there as victims of human trafficking.
