
NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- Police in New Castle County, Delaware arrested three people as part of a massive, nationwide crackdown on human trafficking.
The effort was focused on what officials say are illicit massage businesses.
Last Thursday investigators raided the Relaxing Asian Moon Spa in Newark and arrested the owner, 56-year-old Li Shi.
Detectives say they found $42,000 in gold bars and coins, $16,000 in silver bars and coins and $25,000 in cash inside the business.
Investigators also raided the TH Rainbow Spa in Wilmington, where they arrested the owner, 44-year-old Mei Chen.
She is facing charges of promoting prostitution and money laundering.
The crackdown called "Operation Coast to Coast" has conducted several raids across the country over the last few months.
Investigators say 129 victims were identified, including 11 minors.
