Eagles fans thrilled after comeback win

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Eagles fans are psyched after the Eagles 33-26 comeback win over the Los Angeles Rams.

Eagles fans say the game was a nail-biter and kept them on the edge of their seats.

The Eagles are now 3-0.

"I love it. Jordan Davis all day," said Courtney of Newark, Delaware.

"That was one of the craziest experiences I ever had. I could tell you that," said Zurab of University City.

But they say the game was too close for comfort.

"They could play better. They could run better. They could pass better," said Devon Hoff from Cape May, New Jersey.

Ron Hood from South Philadelphia said, "Defense played okay. Offense could have been better. Everything could have been better but a win is a win. Let's go."

While some fans celebrated at Chickie's and Pete's, tailgaters packed the parking lots at Lincoln Financial Field.

Eagles fans arrived bright and early to Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday ahead of the big game against the LA Rams.

"We get here eight hours before kickoff, and it's just a party every time," said Olivia Vogel from Haddon Heights, NJ.

From the music to the games to the grill:

"Right now, just burgers and sausages. Later on, it's going to be the famous jerk chicken I make," said Bartae Stubbs from Bridgeton, NJ. "I'm a die-hard Eagles fan."

And the food is just as good as the fashion for the bird gang.

Scott Kraft from York, Pennsylvania, rocked a green beard.

"To support the birds," said Kraft. "When it's Christmas time, I'll do red and green."

Eagles fans even came from as far as Sweden to see their team in action.

"We have that spirit," said Styrbjorn Roald. "That get-go spirit that you need to cheer on a team like the Eagles."

For some, it's a new experience.

"This is my son's first game," said Matthew Lefchik, who traveled from South Carolina.

But for many, football Sundays at the Linc are a tradition.

"What started out to be a family tailgate since 2008, it's kind of morphed into something really special. On any given Sunday, we'll have 100-200 fans," said Lou Vogel from Haddon Heights.

"You have to tap into those that you know love and care about you," said Jeffrey Butler. "This is a prime example of people who come together because they're family."

Hoping the Eagles' winning season continues just like their decades-old family tradition.

"It means everything," said Olivia.

"I just want them to win," said Lou. "I don't care if Jalen Hurts throws for 100 yards. We get the victory - that's all that matters."

"Touchdowns all day," said Stubbs. "Let's go, Eagles."

Eagles fans hope the win streak continues against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next Sunday.
