JYK Discovery Charter School students embark on a school trip to Greece

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A group of 8th graders are going on the trip of a lifetime.

Students at JYK Discovery Charter School in Parkside embarked on an educational trip to Greece on Thursday morning.

About 23 students taking part in the expedition said their goodbyes and boarded buses.

It's part of a program that has sent Discovery students to international destinations including Mexico, Germany and Thailand.
