Woman killed while riding e-scooter in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- A 42-year-old woman was killed while riding an e-scooter in Allentown.
It happened on the 4200 block of South 4th Street just after 11:30 p.m. Friday.
Investigators say an SUV rear-ended her scooter.
The driver, 22-year-old Eliezer Santiago, tried to flee the scene.
Police say they took him into custody a short time later, after he nearly hit a vehicle responding to the scene.
Santiago is facing several charges, including driving under the influence.
