WALL TOWNSHIP, New Jersey (WPVI) -- At the New Jersey Museum of Transportation, all are welcome aboard their locomotives to discover history!
Also known as the Pine Creek Railroad, their staff of volunteers are going full steam ahead.
Originally started in 1952, this museum is an outdoor campus for educational enrichment.
They offer train rides for all guests on the weekends when they are in-season.
"This is a demonstration railroad...about three quarter mile loop of track here, we have railroad equipment from pretty much all around the world as far as Ireland and Hawaii...as well as right here in New Jersey," said Engineer, Kyle Reiser.
" I trained all the way up from being 14 years old...to become a trainman, conductor, and an engineer...It's a very satisfying time to be part of the organization to teach people how to do things and keep this place rolling," he continued.
Their Spring operating season starts March 28th, 2026.
