Families find their 'place at the table' at NJ food pantry

MULLICA HILL, New Jersey (WPVI) -- In 2012, Kristen Skrobanek turned a small service project into a grocery-store-style food pantry for her South Jersey community.

Today, 'Your Place at the Table' serves roughly 200 families in the Mullica Hill area.

It is located on the lower level of Trinity United Methodist Church and offers pick up dates and times each month.

They also partner with community organizations such as St. John of God Community Services and Cheerful Dragonfly Florist to offer more than just food.

After 52 years of service, the Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard has renovated and reimagined itself as a 'full choice' pantry.
